Daily Post about 8 hours 1 mins read

Ecuador coach, Sebastian Beccacece, has become the fifth and latest manager to lose his job following the nation’s Round of 32 exit at the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Recall that Ecuador failed to progress to the Round of 16 after losing 2-0 against Mexico on Wednesday.

However, the Ecuadorian Football Federation has now announced that the contract of Beccacece has officially ended.

The Ecuadorian Football Federation thanks Beccacece and his team for their commitment and professionalism during the team’s participation at the World Cup.

However, Becaccece now joined the likes of Ronald Koeman (Netherlands), Miroslav Koubek (Czechia), Steve Clarke (Scotland), and Hong Myung-bo(South Korea) in losing their jobs after their teams’ exit at the World Cup.
